šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Regional Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services across our regional portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Pharmacy Operations, you will lead a team of pharmacy managers, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and striving for excellence in patient care. Your impact will be felt across the region, influencing patient outcomes and driving business growth.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⢠Develop and execute regional pharmacy strategies to drive service excellence and business growth.
⢠Lead a team of pharmacy managers, providing coaching and mentorship to ensure high-performance standards.
⢠Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, provide guidance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
⢠Foster strong relationships with local healthcare providers, GPs, and other stakeholders to promote collaborative working.
⢠Analyze operational data to inform business decisions and optimize pharmacy performance.
⢠Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, policies, and best practices to ensure CVS remains at the forefront of pharmacy excellence.
⢠Collaborate with the Head of Pharmacy Operations to develop and implement regional strategies aligned with national initiatives.
⢠Represent CVS at regional and national meetings, promoting our brand and expertise.
⢠Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
⢠Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
⢠Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to pharmacy managers.
⢠Manage budgets and resources effectively to drive business growth and optimize pharmacy performance.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠5+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
⢠A degree in a relevant field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare management). Postgraduate qualifications or certifications (e.g., MBA, MSc) are desirable.
⢠Strong technical skills in pharmacy operations, including experience with relevant software and systems.
⢠Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
⢠Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
⢠Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
⢠Valid UK driving license and ability to travel frequently.
⢠Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
⢠Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠Experience in a multi-site or regional pharmacy operations environment.
⢠Knowledge of NHS policies, procedures, and initiatives.
⢠Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems, including Meditech and Pinnacle.
⢠Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
⢠Certified in pharmacy leadership or management (e.g., Certified Pharmacy Manager, CPM).
