🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Remote Clinical Data Manager - Oncology Research, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing large datasets related to cancer research. You will work closely with our research teams to design and implement clinical trials, collect and analyze data, and present findings. You will report to our Senior Manager of Clinical Research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data management and analysis.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and implement data management plans for oncology clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
• Collaborate with research teams to develop and implement data collection and analysis strategies.
• Manage and analyze large datasets using statistical software and programming languages such as R or Python.
• Develop and maintain databases, data models, and data visualization tools to support clinical research.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by designing and implementing data validation and quality control procedures.
• Present research findings and data insights to research teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management and analysis.
• Provide training and support to research staff on data management and analysis best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement data management solutions and ensure data security and integrity.
• Develop and maintain documentation of data management processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance data management processes.
• Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate research findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with research teams to design and implement data sharing and collaboration strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as collaborators and vendors.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management and analysis.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in clinical data management, research, or a related field.
Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Public Health, Biostatistics, or Epidemiology.
Proven experience in managing and analyzing large datasets using statistical software and programming languages such as R or Python.
Strong knowledge of data management principles, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and quality.
Experience with data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau or Power BI.
Certification in data management, research, or a related field (e.g., CDMP, CCRP).
• Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems, such as OnCore or REDcap.
• Experience with data management software, such as Oracle or SAS.
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as Biostatistics or Epidemiology.
5+ years of experience in a leadership role, such as Senior Clinical Data Manager or Program Manager.
Certification in project management, such as PMP or Agile.
Experience with cloud-based data management platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence in data management and analysis.
💰 WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a competitive salary range of €50,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.
