šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Remote H-E-B Supply Chain Optimization Analyst, you will be an integral part of our Supply Chain Optimization team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data and identify areas of improvement, developing and implementing sustainable solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive business growth. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Optimization, you will be responsible for providing actionable insights that inform strategic decisions, resulting in a significant impact on the company's bottom line.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
. Develop and maintain detailed data models to analyze supply chain performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and inventory management, to design, implement, and evaluate supply chain optimization initiatives.
. Utilize data analytics tools and techniques, such as statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization, to extract insights from large datasets.
. Develop and manage reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to effectively communicate supply chain performance and optimization opportunities to stakeholders.
. Conduct thorough root cause analyses of supply chain disruptions, identifying and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
. Partner with external vendors and partners to gather data, share best practices, and collaborate on supply chain optimization projects.
. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for strategic improvements to supply chain operations.
. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of H-E-B's supply chain, including its complexities, challenges, and opportunities.
. Develop and present findings, recommendations, and implementation plans to stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and effective execution.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
. 5+ years of experience in supply chain optimization, operations research, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering significant improvements in efficiency and cost reduction.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data.
. Proficiency in data analytics tools, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik, with experience in data visualization and reporting.
. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and findings to various stakeholders.
. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
. Knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in supply chain optimization.
. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
. Familiarity with data management tools, such as MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft Access.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
. Experience with machine learning algorithms and programming languages, such as Python, R, or Julia.
. Certification in supply chain management, operations research, or a related field (e.g., CSCP, CIRM).
. Experience working in a multinational environment with diverse teams and stakeholders.
. Familiarity with cloud-based data analytics platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
