🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Remote IT Compliance Manager at AutoZone, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our IT systems and practices meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and data protection. Working closely with our internal teams, you will help develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard our company's sensitive information and systems. You will report directly to the IT Director and will have a significant impact on our IT operations and security posture.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop recommendations for mitigation.

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the secure implementation of new systems, applications, and technologies.

- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on IT security best practices and compliance requirements.

- Monitor and analyze security event logs to identify potential security incidents and develop responses to mitigate harm.

- Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and provide guidance to IT teams on mitigation strategies.

- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, regulators, and industry partners to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

- Conduct investigations into security incidents and develop recommendations for remediation and prevention.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- At least 5 years of experience in IT compliance, security, or a related field.

- CISSP, CISM, or similar security certification.

- Proficient in IT security frameworks, such as NIST or ISO 27001.

- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Experience with cloud-based security platforms, such as AWS or Azure.

- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL.

- Experience with security awareness training and program development.

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or GDPR.
