🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients identify and mitigate potential cyber threats. This is a remote position, and you will work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies. You will report directly to our Director of Cybersecurity and will be responsible for identifying and addressing potential security risks, developing risk assessments and mitigation plans, and collaborating with our clients to implement these plans. Your work will have a significant impact on our clients' businesses, and you will be a key member of our team.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct in-depth risk assessments of our clients' cyber security posture, including network, system, and application vulnerabilities. Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to mitigate potential threats, including recommendations for security controls, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with our clients to implement these strategies, including providing training and support as needed. Identify and address potential security risks, including developing risk assessments and mitigation plans. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cybersecurity, including emerging threats and technologies. Develop and maintain relationships with our clients, including providing regular updates and reporting on security metrics. Collaborate with our team to identify and address potential security incidents, including developing incident response plans and providing support during incidents. Develop and implement security awareness training programs for our clients' employees.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on risk assessment and mitigation. Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including NIST and ISO 27001. Proven experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Fluency in Spanish and English.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field. CISSP or CISM certification. Experience with cloud security, including AWS and Azure. Experience with security information and event management systems, including Splunk and ELK. Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
