π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Pricing Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability by analyzing market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behavior. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations, to inform pricing decisions and optimize inventory management. Reporting to the Director of Pricing and Analytics, you will have a significant impact on the success of our omnichannel retail business.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain a pricing intelligence framework to inform pricing decisions across all channels, including online and in-store.
Analyze competitor pricing strategies and market trends to identify opportunities for price optimization.
Collaborate with Merchandising teams to develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Monitor and report on pricing performance, including sales, markdowns, and inventory turnover.
Provide insights and recommendations to inform business decisions, such as inventory management, assortment planning, and marketing campaigns.
Develop and maintain relationships with external data providers to ensure access to market intelligence and competitor data.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve pricing analytics capabilities.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of experience in pricing analytics, market research, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven expertise in pricing strategy and analysis, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience working with data visualization tools and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Certification in data science, analytics, or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Analyst, Certified Analytics Professional).
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).
Familiarity with omnichannel retail operations, including e-commerce and in-store sales.
