🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our global team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize our grocery supply chain operations, ensuring seamless delivery of products to our stores and customers. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Optimization, you will collaborate with data analysts, logistics teams, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement process changes, and monitor key performance indicators. Your focus will be on achieving significant reductions in costs, lead times, and carbon emissions within our supply chain.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with data analysts to develop and analyze complex supply chain models, optimizing inventory levels, and transportation routes to minimize costs and enhance delivery times.

- Work closely with logistics teams to design and implement process changes, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruptions to our supply chain operations.

- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including transportation costs, inventory turnover, and lead times, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and resolving issues that impact our supply chain.

- Conduct regular assessments of our supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement and developing implementable solutions to overcome challenges.

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of new business initiatives and strategic projects.

- Develop and maintain accurate documentation of supply chain processes, including standard operating procedures and training materials.

- Ensure compliance with Kroger's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in supply chain optimization, logistics, or a related field.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Advanced knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices, including optimization techniques and data analysis.

- Proficiency in data analysis software, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Familiarity with supply chain management software, such as SAP or Oracle.

- Valid certification in supply chain management (CSCP or CLTD) or a related field.
