🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

In this key role, you'll be responsible for managing renewable energy projects and ensuring seamless integration with our existing grid infrastructure. As a Grid Integration Specialist, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and project development to identify and mitigate potential risks and ensure successful project execution. You'll report directly to the Renewable Energy Project Manager and contribute to the development of our renewable energy portfolio. Your efforts will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver reliable and sustainable energy to our customers.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage renewable energy projects from development through commissioning and commercial operation.

- Collaborate with project development teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with grid integration.

- Develop and maintain complex project schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates.

- Ensure compliance with project milestones and performance targets.

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project-related issues and ensure smooth handovers.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project partners, vendors, and government agencies.

- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.

- Provide expert advice and guidance to project team members on grid integration and project management best practices.

- Support the development of project business cases and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

- Continuously improve project management processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

- Participate in project reviews and lessons-learned sessions to identify opportunities for improvement.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of project management experience in the energy or utility industry, with a focus on renewable energy or grid infrastructure development.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

- Strong understanding of grid operations, power system dynamics, and renewable energy technologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.

- Experience with project management software tools, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project.

- Fluency in English and German languages.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2.

- Experience with renewable energy project development, including wind, solar, or hydroelectric projects.

- Familiarity with German energy market regulations and policies.

- Knowledge of energy storage systems and their integration with grid infrastructure.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of €55,000 - €75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous vacation time.
