🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Restaurant Operations Manager β€” Regional Training and Development will be responsible for leading the development of training programs, coaching restaurant staff, and collaborating with franchise operators to improve restaurant performance and overall customer experience. This role will report directly to the Regional Training Manager and will work closely with the restaurant operations team to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in training and development, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for restaurant staff, including onboarding, ongoing training, and leadership development.

- Collaborate with franchise operators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance restaurant performance and customer satisfaction.

- Coach and mentor restaurant staff to improve their skills and knowledge, with a focus on leadership development and succession planning.

- Analyze restaurant performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations to improve restaurant operations.

- Work closely with the regional training manager to develop and implement regional training initiatives.

- Conduct regular site visits to assess restaurant performance and provide coaching and feedback to restaurant staff.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including franchise operators, restaurant staff, and corporate partners.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development, and apply this knowledge to improve restaurant operations.

- Develop and manage training budgets, including procurement of training materials and resources.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including restaurant staff, franchise operators, and corporate partners.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in the fast-food industry.

- A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, human resources, or business administration.

- Strong background in adult learning theory and instructional design.

- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop recommendations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight trips.

- Experience working with adult learners and developing training programs for diverse audiences.

- Certification in a training and development discipline, such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).
