π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Retail Operations Manager, Regional Supply Chain Excellence, you will be responsible for leading a team of supply chain professionals in Germany to drive excellence in retail operations. You will report to the Senior Director, Supply Chain, and will be part of a high-performing team that is passionate about delivering results.
Your primary goal will be to ensure that our stores have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time, to meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including store operations, logistics, and merchandising, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process changes that drive efficiency and productivity.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and implement a regional supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives and goals.
* Lead a team of supply chain professionals to drive excellence in retail operations, including inventory management, transportation, and logistics.
* Collaborate with store operations and logistics teams to ensure that stores have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time.
* Analyze data and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes that drive efficiency and productivity.
* Develop and implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and track progress.
* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for supply chain initiatives.
* Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices and adapt supply chain strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate with the Senior Director, Supply Chain, to develop and implement a regional supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives and goals.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on retail operations.
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Experience in leading a team, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members.
* Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the business implications of supply chain decisions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Familiarity with logistics and transportation management systems.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience in a similar role in a retail or manufacturing environment.
* Certification in Supply Chain Management, such as the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
* Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
* Experience in implementing process improvements and driving efficiency gains in a retail or manufacturing environment.
