π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Retail Operations Manager - Supply Chain Optimization, you will be responsible for managing the flow of products from our distribution centers to our stores. You will work closely with our buying and logistics teams to ensure that our stores are stocked with the right products at the right time. This is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities. You will report directly to the Director of Retail Operations and will be responsible for managing a team of inventory coordinators and logistics specialists.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze sales data and inventory levels to identify opportunities for improvement in our supply chain processes.
Work closely with our buying team to optimize product assortment and pricing.
Collaborate with our logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our stores.
Manage and train a team of inventory coordinators and logistics specialists to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as inventory turnover and on-time delivery rates.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in a retail or supply chain operations role.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or logistics.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business or supply chain management.
Experience with inventory management software, such as Manhattan Associates or JDA.
Certification in supply chain management, such as the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) credential.
