🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Risk Management and Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of risk across the organization. This will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, as well as maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Risk Management and will be responsible for developing and implementing effective risk management strategies. This role will have a significant impact on the organization, enabling us to make informed decisions and minimize potential risks.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and assess potential risks to the organization, including market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and regulatory risk

Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective risk management and compliance

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of risk assessments and mitigation strategies

Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures

Provide regular risk management reports to senior management and the Board of Directors

Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all employees understand risk management policies and procedures

Collaborate with internal audit to ensure that risk management strategies are effective and compliant with regulatory requirements

Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or risk management

Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in a financial services company

Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including investment products, lending products, and payment services

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess potential risks

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders

Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of risk assessments and mitigation strategies

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or risk management

Certification in risk management, such as the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation

Experience in developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in Germany, including the Banking Act and the Capital Requirements Directive
