🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Sam's Club store in Germany. You will lead a team of store managers and associates to ensure the smooth delivery of our services to our members. You will report directly to the District Manager and will be responsible for achieving store profitability and growth targets. Your work will have a significant impact on the customer experience and overall reputation of our brand in Germany.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective management of store operations, including inventory management, stockroom organization, and product flow. Develop and implement strategies to improve store profitability, including pricing, promotions, and inventory optimization. Supervise and coach a team of store managers and associates to ensure they are meeting their performance goals. Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth. Collaborate with the District Manager to establish and achieve sales targets, expense budgets, and customer satisfaction goals. Develop and implement store marketing plans to drive traffic and sales. Conduct employee training programs to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Conduct employee performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop growth plans. ✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a warehouse club or similar environment. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence a team. Proven track record of improving store profitability and achieving sales targets. Experience with inventory management systems and data analysis tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound business decisions. Fluent in English and German.
⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or advanced degree in a related field. Experience with digital marketing platforms and social media advertising. Knowledge of German labor laws and regulations. Proven experience in developing and implementing employee training programs.
💰 WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a competitive salary range of EUR 60,000 - EUR 80,000 per year, dependent on experience. We provide comprehensive health insurance and a retirement plan, as well as 25 days of annual leave and 10 days of public holidays. Our store is open Monday to Saturday, and we offer a hybrid work-from-home policy to support work-life balance.
