🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior AI/ML Model Validator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI and machine learning models, primarily serving the German financial services sector. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to validate and verify the accuracy and fairness of our models. You will report directly to the Lead Data Scientist and will have a significant impact on the development of our AI and ML capabilities.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans for AI and ML models, ensuring that they meet the required standards for accuracy, fairness, and reliability.

* Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to design, implement, and test AI and ML models, ensuring that they are optimized for performance and scalability.

* Conduct thorough analysis of model performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for model refinement.

* Develop and maintain robust testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of AI and ML models.

* Communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders, including product managers and business leaders.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and ML, applying new techniques and methodologies to improve model performance.

* Collaborate with the broader data science team to develop and maintain a data-driven culture, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.

* Develop and maintain documentation of validation processes and procedures, ensuring that they are accessible and easily understandable by team members.

* Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that code meets the required standards for quality and maintainability.

* Work closely with the data governance team to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 8+ years of experience in data science, AI, or ML, with a strong background in validation and verification.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

* Proven track record of developing and executing validation plans for AI and ML models.

* Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or Julia, with experience in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

* Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning.

* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.

* Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

* Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.

* Certification in data science, AI, or ML, such as Certified Data Scientist or Certified Machine Learning Engineer.

* Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

* Strong experience with database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

* Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
