🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Aromatherapy Product Developer at Bath & Body Works, you will be a key member of our product development team, focused on creating innovative fragrances and cosmetics products that meet our brand's high standards of quality and excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, ensuring they meet customer preferences and exceed expectations. You will be responsible for developing fragrance formulas, product concepts, and product specifications, as well as collaborating with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and materials. Your work will have a direct impact on our product offerings and the customer experience.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop innovative fragrance formulas and product concepts that meet our brand's quality and excellence standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, including product designers, product managers, and suppliers

Design and develop product specifications, including ingredient sourcing, packaging, and labeling

Conduct sensory evaluations and product testing to ensure product quality and customer preferences

Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and materials that meet our brand's standards

Develop and maintain fragrance databases and product records to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and customer preferences to inform product development and innovation

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as fragrance science, cosmetic chemistry, or a related field

8+ years of experience in product development, preferably in the fragrance or cosmetics industry

Proven track record of developing innovative products that meet quality and excellence standards

Excellent knowledge of fragrance chemistry and product formulation

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams

Experience with product design, product management, and supplier sourcing

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in a relevant field or a related field

Experience with SAP or other product lifecycle management (PLM) systems

Familiarity with fragrance industry regulations and compliance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in sensory evaluation and product testing

We offer a competitive salary range of €55,000 - €75,000 per year, depending on experience
