šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Aviation Industry Digital Transformation Consultant at Delta Air Lines, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organisation by driving digital transformation initiatives. Reporting to our Director of Digital Transformation, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and technology adoption. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of the curve, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and implement digital transformation strategies aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
* Lead the design and delivery of business process improvements, leveraging digital technologies such as AI, IoT, and cloud computing.
* Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
* Identify and assess new business opportunities, recommending strategic investments in digital technologies.
* Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget.
* Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, attending conferences, workshops, and webinars to share knowledge and best practices.
* Develop and deliver training programs to enhance colleagues' digital literacy and skills.
* Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of digital initiatives, measuring success and providing insights for future improvements.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 8+ years of experience in digital transformation, consulting, or a related field, preferably in the aviation industry.
* An advanced degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering.
* Strong technical skills in digital technologies, including cloud computing, AI, and IoT.
* Experience with business process re-engineering, change management, and project management methodologies.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
* Proficiency in project management tools, such as Asana, Jira, or MS Project.
* Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with occasional international trips.

* Experience working with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
