šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Clinical Data Scientist on our Population Health Insights team, you will play a key role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive better health outcomes and reduced healthcare costs. You will collaborate closely with clinicians, researchers, and other stakeholders to design and deploy evidence-based strategies that address the complex needs of our patients. Reporting to the Director of Population Health Insights, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of millions of people. Your work will involve analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models, and communicating complex insights to inform business decisions.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain advanced data models and algorithms to identify trends and patterns in population health data
Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to design and deploy data-driven interventions that address specific health outcomes
Analyze large datasets to identify opportunities for care improvement and cost reduction
Communicate complex insights and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement new data-driven solutions
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and population health
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and analysts
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in a data science or related field, with a focus on population health or healthcare
Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
Advanced programming skills in languages such as R, Python, or SQL
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms
Certification in data science or a related field (e.g. Certified Data Scientist, Certified Analytics Professional)
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Public Health)
Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
Familiarity with healthcare-specific data standards and regulations (e.g. HIPAA, ICD-10)
Certification in a related field (e.g. Certified Healthcare Data Analyst, Certified Population Health Specialist)
