🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cloud Data Engineer in our IoT Telecommunications team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale cloud data pipelines to support the growing demand for IoT connectivity.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is accurate, reliable, and secure, and provide expertise in cloud computing, data engineering, and IoT technologies.

You will report to the Director of Cloud Engineering and will be expected to take ownership of multiple projects and contribute to the growth and success of the team.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement cloud data pipelines using Apache Beam, AWS Glue, and Apache Hadoop to process and analyze large-scale IoT data sets.

Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud data architecture to support IoT applications and services.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design and implement data pipelines that meet business requirements and deliver high-quality data insights.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud data engineering issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing and IoT technologies and ensure that the team's knowledge and expertise are current.

Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IoT data.

Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to support the team's cloud data engineering activities.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, IoT, and telecommunications.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Expert-level knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Experienced in working with data engineering tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Hadoop, and AWS Glue.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience with data analytics and machine learning techniques.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Salary range: €60,000 - €80,000 per year.
