🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect on our Data Operations team, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure to support the growth of our data analytics initiatives. Reporting to our Cloud Infrastructure Manager, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems and services. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business agility, improving data governance, and ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure architectures to support data analytics initiatives, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and machine learning workloads.

• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and analysts to develop cloud-based data pipelines, integrating data from various sources and formats.

• Develop and maintain cloud-based data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

• Design and implement data lake and data warehousing solutions using cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure.

• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based data infrastructure, leveraging cloud services and managed solutions.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud-based infrastructure, including architecture diagrams, configuration files, and deployment scripts.

• Collaborate with the cloud engineering team to design and implement data-driven cloud migration strategies, ensuring seamless integration with existing on-premises infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration files, and deployment scripts.

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop solutions, and provide technical guidance on cloud-based data infrastructure.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing, data analytics, and machine learning, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improve existing processes.

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to develop and implement automation scripts, ensuring efficient and secure deployment of cloud-based data infrastructure.

• Participate in the development of cloud-based data analytics and machine learning models, working closely with data scientists and engineers.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, particularly in data analytics and machine learning.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS or Azure, and experience with containerization (e.g., Docker).

• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with cloud-based data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).

• Experience with data governance, data quality, and compliance, particularly in the context of cloud-based data infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of data analytics and machine learning concepts, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and data visualization.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Experience with DevOps practices, including automation scripts, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA.

• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Certification in cloud computing, data analytics, or machine learning (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Certified Data Scientist).

💰 WHAT WE OFFER
