🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cloud Migration Engineer at Salesforce, you will be responsible for leading the migration of our e-commerce clients to the cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test cloud migration strategies that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud technology, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Design and implement cloud migration strategies for e-commerce clients, ensuring minimal disruption to their business operations.

. Collaborate with cloud architects, engineers, and project managers to develop and execute migration plans.

. Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support cloud migration processes.

. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of cloud migration solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements.

. Provide technical guidance and support to internal customers and external stakeholders throughout the migration process.

. Identify and resolve technical issues related to cloud migration, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud trends and technologies, making recommendations for adoption and implementation.

. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including cloud providers, vendors, and internal teams.

. Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. 5+ years of experience in cloud migration, with a focus on e-commerce solutions.

. Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

. Experience with cloud migration tools and technologies, such as AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migration Services, and Google Cloud Migration Service.

. Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

. Experience with technical documentation and knowledge base development.

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

As a Senior Cloud Migration Engineer at Salesforce, you will be offered a salary range of £55,000 - £80,000 per year, depending on experience.
