🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cloud Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, supporting our business growth, and delivering exceptional service quality to our clients. You will report to the Director of Cloud Engineering and be part of a high-performing team that collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to drive cloud adoption and innovation. Your impact will be measured by your ability to ensure high uptime, scalability, and security of our cloud services, as well as your expertise in cloud architecture, migration, and optimization.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure architectures to support business growth and scalability. Develop and maintain cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks to ensure regulatory adherence. Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to plan, execute, and monitor large-scale cloud migrations. Optimize cloud resource utilization, cost, and performance through data-driven insights and analytics. Develop and maintain cloud operations processes, standards, and documentation. Ensure high-quality knowledge transfer and training to team members and stakeholders. Collaborate with cloud vendors to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and resolve issues. Develop and implement cloud capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans. Participate in cloud security and compliance audits, and implement corrective actions as needed. Stay up-to-date with cloud technology advancements, industry trends, and best practices.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in cloud operations, engineering, or related fields. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Strong technical skills in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud security, and compliance. Experience with cloud migration, optimization, and capacity planning. Proven expertise in cloud architecture, design, and implementation. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience with cloud automation tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive business decisions.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Experience with cloud security frameworks, such as NIST or PCI-DSS. Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and financial management. Experience with cloud infrastructure automation tools, such as AWS CodePipeline or Azure DevOps. Strong knowledge of cloud networking, storage, and database technologies.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a highly competitive salary range of 500,000 - 800,000 MXN per year, depending on experience.
