šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Cloud Security Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure cloud-based solutions for our aerospace engineering projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. You will report to the Cloud Security Manager and will have the opportunity to impact the security posture of our entire organization.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement cloud security architectures for aerospace engineering projects
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for cloud-based security risks
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and secure deployment of applications
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including encryption, access controls, and monitoring
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures
- Identify and report security incidents to management and stakeholders
- Provide security guidance and training to development teams
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends and best practices
- Collaborate with cloud providers to obtain necessary security clearances and certifications
- Develop and maintain relationships with cloud security vendors and partners
- Develop and maintain cloud security budgets and resource plans
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in cloud security architecture or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
- CISSP certification (or equivalent) with a focus on cloud security
- Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with cloud security tools, such as CloudWatch or Azure Monitor
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, such as NIST or PCI-DSS
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with cloud security certifications, such as FedRAMP or DoD C2S
- Knowledge of cloud security regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in cloud security architecture or a related field
- Master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
- Experience with cloud security management platforms, such as Cloud Security Alliance or Cloud Security Alliance: Cloud Controls Matrix
- Experience with cloud security analytics and incident response
- Knowledge of cloud security automation and orchestration tools, such as CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager
- Experience with cloud security compliance and governance
