šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Cloud Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud security solutions for our global IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Cloud Security, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the secure and reliable deployment of cloud-based systems and applications. Your expertise will help to protect our corporate data and systems from cyber threats, while also promoting compliance with industry standards and regulations.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement cloud security architectures to protect our IT infrastructure from cyber threats and data breaches.
Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based systems and applications, ensuring secure and reliable deployment.
Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption to our operations.
Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within our organization.
Develop and deliver cloud security training programs to educate colleagues on best practices and security awareness.
Stay current with industry standards and regulations, and ensure our cloud security solutions meet or exceed these requirements.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, with a focus on designing and implementing secure cloud-based systems and applications.
Proven track record of successfully implementing cloud security solutions, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
CISSP or CISM certification, or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify vulnerabilities.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with cloud security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO 27001.
Familiarity with cloud-based security tools, such as AWS IAM or Azure Active Directory.
Certification in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
Experience with DevSecOps practices, including security automation and continuous integration.
