🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cloud Security Architect at Cisco, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure for our customers. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud security strategies, architectures, and solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure that our cloud security solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security. You will report to the Director of Cloud Security Architecture and will be a key member of our cloud security architecture team.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain cloud security strategies, architectures, and solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our cloud security solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security.

- Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure for our customers, including virtual private clouds, containerization, and serverless computing.

- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and standards.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop sales materials, product demos, and marketing campaigns that highlight our cloud security solutions.

- Participate in the design and development of new cloud security products and services.

- Develop and deliver training and education programs for our customers and internal stakeholders on cloud security best practices.

- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to develop and integrate cloud security solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to our cloud security solutions.

- Develop and maintain relationships with our customers and partners to ensure that our cloud security solutions meet their needs.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8-12 years of experience in cloud security architecture, engineering, or a related field.

- Expert-level knowledge of cloud security technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Kubernetes.

- Experience with cloud security frameworks, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Cloud Controls Matrix.

- Proven track record of designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure for large-scale applications.

- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.

- Experience with cloud security tools, including cloud security gateways, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and cloud workload protection platforms.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5-10 years of experience in cloud security engineering or architecture.

- Experience with cloud security platforms, including Cloud Security Platforms (CSP) and Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB).

- Experience with cloud security standards, including Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Security Guidance for Critical Areas of Focus in Cloud Computing.

- Strong experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies.

- Strong experience with cloud-based data analytics and machine learning technologies.

- Strong experience with cloud-based security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

At Cisco, we offer a competitive salary range of €50,000 to €80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and vacation days.
