π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Cloud Security Architect for Finance and Compliance, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud solutions for Microsoft's financial and compliance teams. Reporting to the Cloud Security Engineering Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of Microsoft's cloud-based financial systems. Your expertise will help protect against cyber threats and ensure regulatory compliance. Your work will have a significant impact on the security posture of Microsoft's cloud infrastructure, directly supporting the company's mission to empower employees and customers.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement secure cloud solutions for Microsoft's financial and compliance teams, leveraging AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards.
- Develop and maintain cloud security architectures, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing, providing recommendations for improvement and remediation.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, advising the cloud security engineering team on best practices and new security features.
- Work closely with the cloud security operations team to respond to security incidents and outages.
- Develop and deliver training programs for cloud security best practices, ensuring the entire cloud security engineering team is equipped to handle complex security challenges.
- Collaborate with the Microsoft Azure and AWS security teams to ensure integration and compliance with their security frameworks.
- Engage with external security vendors and partners to identify and adopt new security technologies and solutions.
- Participate in security architecture reviews, ensuring adherence to the company's security standards and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain cloud security documentation, including security designs, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, design, and implementation.
- Proven expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a strong understanding of security features and capabilities.
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data encryption.
- Strong understanding of security standards and regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and NIST.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with security automation tools, such as AWS CloudFormation and Azure Resource Manager.
- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, such as the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Cloud Security Guidance.
- Experience with security training and awareness programs, with the ability to develop and deliver engaging training content.
- Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, design, and implementation.
- Experience with cloud security certifications, such as the CompTIA Cloud Security+ or the CISSP-ISSAP.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud-based security platforms, such as Cloudflare or Dome9.

As a Senior Cloud Security Architect for Finance and Compliance at Microsoft, you will receive a highly competitive salary ranging from β¬55,000 to β¬80,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for our comprehensive health insurance package, a 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% company match, and a generous vacation policy of 30 days per year. Our team has a strong track record of innovation, with recent wins including the development of a cloud-based security platform for Microsoft's Azure and AWS environments.
