šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Cloud Security Architect, you will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of our cloud security strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customer data and systems.
You will report directly to our Cloud Security Manager and collaborate with our IT teams to ensure seamless integration of security into our cloud operations. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of the curve in cloud security, protecting our assets and reputation in the highly competitive retail banking space.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement cloud security strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, security groups, and identity and access management (IAM) systems.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into cloud operations, ensuring seamless deployment and management of cloud resources.
Develop and maintain secure cloud architecture diagrams, documentation, and guidelines for cloud security best practices.
Design and implement cloud-based security monitoring and incident response solutions, ensuring timely detection and response to security threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud security training programs for employees.
Develop and maintain relationships with cloud security vendors and industry partners to stay informed of emerging security threats and best practices.
Develop and maintain cloud security metrics and reports to measure security posture and identify areas for improvement.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and implementation, preferably in the retail banking or financial services industry.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
CISSP, CCSP, or CEH certification or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or Google Cloud Security Command Center.
Experience with cloud security tools, such as cloud access security brokers (CASBs) and cloud workload protection platforms (CWPPs).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with DevOps tools and practices, such as containerization, orchestration, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Security Guidance.
Experience with cloud-based security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
