π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer for Financial Institutions, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients. This role exists to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive financial data in the cloud. You will report directly to our Cloud Security Architecture team and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and mitigate risks. This role has a significant impact on our clients' trust and confidence in our services.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement cloud security strategies and architectures for Financial Institutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Design and deploy secure cloud infrastructure, including virtual private clouds, storage, and compute resources. Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and identify potential security vulnerabilities. Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks. Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and standards. Work closely with clients to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security threats and technologies, and adapt our security strategies accordingly. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in cloud security operations. Engage with internal stakeholders to communicate cloud security risks, controls, and mitigation strategies. Contribute to the development of cloud security training programs for employees and clients.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on financial services or similar industries. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field. Expert-level knowledge of cloud security tools, technologies, and frameworks, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Experience with cloud infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and standards, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders. German language proficiency (B2 level or higher)
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field. Experience with cloud security certifications, such as CCSP or CISSP. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools. Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and threat intelligence platforms.
