šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Cloud Security Operations Engineer in our Financial Services team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the security architecture of our cloud-based HCM solutions. You will report to the Director of Cloud Security Operations and work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, and product management. Your primary goal will be to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure, protecting sensitive client data from cyber threats and regulatory risks.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement cloud security architectures to protect sensitive client data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based systems and data.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions, using tools such as cloud security gateways, identity and access management systems, and encryption technologies.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain security training programs for internal teams, ensuring that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining the security and compliance of cloud-based systems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices, and advise the management team on strategic security decisions.
- Partner with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud security with on-premises systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain security incident response plans to minimize the impact of security incidents.
- Participate in security audits and compliance assessments, ensuring that our cloud infrastructure meets the required standards and regulations.
- Conduct security research and experimentation to identify and implement innovative security solutions.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in cloud security operations, with a focus on designing and implementing cloud security architectures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security technologies, including cloud security gateways, identity and access management systems, and encryption technologies.
- Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.
- Strong understanding of cloud service models, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python, Java, and C++.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud security certifications, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins and Git.
- Strong experience with cloud-based security tools, such as Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP).

We offer a highly competitive salary ranging from EUR 50,000 to EUR 80,000 per year, depending on experience.
