🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect - Omnichannel Retail, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures for our retail business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet our customers' needs. You will report to the Director of Cloud Architecture and will have a significant impact on the success of our retail business.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement cloud-based solutions for our retail business, including serverless architectures, containers, and microservices.

- Work with development teams to ensure that cloud architectures meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and efficient.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements and develop solutions that meet our customers' needs.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and deployment guides.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and apply that knowledge to improve our cloud architectures.

- Mentor junior architects and engineers to help them grow and develop in their careers.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that code meets our standards for quality, security, and scalability.

- Collaborate with security teams to ensure that cloud architectures meet our security requirements and are compliant with regulatory standards.

- Develop and maintain relationships with cloud vendors to ensure that we are getting the best possible service and support.

- Participate in architectural review boards to provide feedback and guidance on cloud architecture designs.

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our retail business and the technical requirements of our customers.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices, and apply that knowledge to improve our cloud architectures.

- Collaborate with data science teams to incorporate machine learning and artificial intelligence into our cloud architectures.

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on retail or e-commerce.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience with cloud-based architectures, including serverless, containers, and microservices.

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and a strong understanding of their respective services and features.

- Strong understanding of software development principles, including agile development methodologies and continuous integration and delivery.

- Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Git, and Docker.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with cloud security and compliance, including experience with regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence, and a strong understanding of how to incorporate these technologies into cloud architectures.

- Experience with cloud vendors, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

- Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Git, and Docker.

- Experience with cloud security and compliance, including experience with regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA.

- Experience with cloud testing and validation, including experience with testing frameworks and tools.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience.
