🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cybersecurity Architect in our Airspace Systems business, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure systems that protect our customers' sensitive information and assets.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is integrated into every aspect of our products and services.

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies that align with Boeing's global security policies.

Your work will have a significant impact on ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, protecting our customers' interests, and maintaining the trust of our stakeholders.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement secure architecture for complex systems, including cloud-based and on-premise solutions.

Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure that security is integrated into every phase of the software development lifecycle.

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify security threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Implement security controls, including access controls, encryption, and network segmentation, to protect sensitive information and assets.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers, to ensure that their security needs are met.

Contribute to the development of security training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field.

At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including experience in architecture, design, and implementation.

Certifications in security architecture, such as CCSP or CISSP.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in security frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A master's degree in a related field.

Experience with cloud-based security solutions, such as AWS or Azure.

Certifications in cloud security, such as CCSP or CDS.

Experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as aerospace or finance.
