🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cybersecurity Architect at Target, you will play a critical role in protecting our company's digital assets and ensuring the security of our guests' sensitive information. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including IT, Compliance, and Risk Management, to develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies that align with our business goals. You will be responsible for leading security architecture projects, collaborating with vendors, and advising on security best practices. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of emerging threats and ensure that our company remains a leader in data security.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement robust security architecture for Target's omnichannel retail platforms

- Develop and maintain comprehensive security governance policies and procedures

- Collaborate with the Cloud Security team to ensure secure deployment and management of cloud-based services

- Conduct regular security risk assessments and provide remediation recommendations

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to our security architecture

- Develop and deliver training programs for Target team members on security best practices

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure implementation of new technologies and systems

- Assist in the development of annual security plans and budgets

- Participate in incident response efforts and provide technical expertise in identifying and containing security threats

- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure we have access to the latest security solutions and technologies

- Stay current with industry standards and regulations, such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR, and ensure Target's security practices align with these standards.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security architecture and design

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

- Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and industry standards

- Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS or Azure

- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems

- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and architectures

- Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field

- Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools

- Experience with cloud-based security solutions, such as cloud security gateways or cloud-based intrusion detection systems

- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker or Kubernetes

- Experience with security awareness and training programs

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

Target offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, and a 401(k) plan with a 5% company match. Additionally, we have a generous time-off policy, with 15 paid vacation days, 10 paid sick days, and 5 paid holidays per year.
