🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist on our Data Protection in Financial Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our financial data. Working closely with our cross-functional teams, you will develop and implement robust cybersecurity compliance frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex security issues. Reporting directly to our senior management, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives to enhance our data protection posture and promoting a culture of compliance within our organization.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity compliance frameworks and policies to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements

- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop strategies for mitigating them

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement and test security controls, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements

- Develop and deliver training programs to promote a culture of compliance and cybersecurity awareness within the organization

- Conduct audits and compliance assessments to ensure data protection laws and regulations are met

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex security incidents and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences

- Develop and maintain relationships with compliance and regulatory bodies to stay up-to-date on changing regulations and industry standards

- Conduct research and analysis to stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and regulatory requirements

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, with a focus on financial services or data protection

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification

- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR and CCPA

- Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST or COBIT

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
