🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer on our Threat Intelligence and Incident Response team for the Mexico market, you will play a critical role in helping our customers protect themselves against cyber threats and respond to security incidents. You will report directly to the Mexico Country Cybersecurity Manager and will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about cybersecurity and committed to delivering exceptional results. Your expertise and guidance will help our customers navigate the complex world of cybersecurity and stay ahead of emerging threats.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and deliver threat intelligence reports and alerts to customers and internal stakeholders, based on analysis of emerging threats and trends.

• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to security incidents, providing technical expertise and guidance to customers.

• Design and implement cybersecurity solutions for customers, including security architecture and network security configurations.

• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security risks and provide recommendations for remediation.

• Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to customers on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats.

• Collaborate with sales teams to develop and deliver security-specific sales pitches and proposals.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, and apply this knowledge to inform threat intelligence and incident response efforts.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence and incident response.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Advanced knowledge of threat intelligence tools and platforms, including threat feeds and threat intelligence platforms.

• Expertise in security incident response, including incident response planning, incident management, and post-incident activities.

• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and SOC 2.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• CISSP, CEH, or other relevant certifications.

• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.

• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, including Splunk.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of MXN 50,000 - 80,000 per month, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive health insurance plan, a defined contribution retirement plan, and 20 paid vacation days per year.
