🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Data Analyst on our Credit Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform credit risk decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including risk management, credit operations, and analytics, to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and mitigate risk. You will report directly to the Director of Credit Risk Management and contribute to a dynamic team that is passionate about data-driven insights.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain complex data models to analyze credit risk data across multiple dimensions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement data visualizations and reports to support credit risk decision-making.

- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform credit risk decisions.

- Work with data engineers to design and implement data quality controls and data governance policies.

- Provide data-driven insights to support credit risk reporting and compliance.

- Develop and maintain expertise in credit risk modeling and machine learning algorithms.

- Collaborate with data scientists to develop predictive models for credit risk.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in credit risk management and data analytics.

- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and mitigate risk.

- Mentor and train junior team members in data analysis and credit risk management.

- Participate in data governance and data quality initiatives to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field.

- Strong expertise in data modeling, data visualization, and data governance.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

- Experience with data quality controls and data governance policies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

- Experience with machine learning algorithms and credit risk modeling.

- Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

- Experience with data engineering tools such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.

- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.

- Certification in data science, data analytics, or a related field.
