🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Data Analyst in our Insurance Pricing Optimization team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining complex data models and analytics solutions that drive business growth and profitability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, underwriting, and product development, to identify areas of improvement and optimize insurance pricing strategies. Reporting to the Director of Analytics, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality insights and recommendations that inform business decisions. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our company's financial performance and reputation.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain large-scale data models and analytics solutions using SQL, Python, and R programming languages. Collaborate with actuarial and underwriting teams to design and implement predictive models for insurance pricing optimization. Analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns that inform business decisions. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform pricing strategies and product development. Work closely with product managers to develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards. Identify areas for process improvement and recommend changes to optimize data analytics workflows. Develop and maintain documentation of data models and analytics solutions. Ensure data quality and integrity through regular data validation and testing.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on insurance pricing optimization. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R programming languages. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science. Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their applications in insurance pricing optimization. Certification in data science or analytics. Experience working with large data sets and developing scalable data analytics solutions.
