šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Data Analyst - Retail Operations will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and improvement through data-driven insights. Reporting directly to the Head of Retail Operations, this individual will be responsible for analyzing sales trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making. With a focus on operational efficiency, this expert will identify areas for improvement, develop data-driven solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on CVS's ability to stay ahead of the competition and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
. Develop and maintain advanced data analysis models to inform retail operations decisions
. Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify areas for improvement
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions and optimize operational efficiency
. Design and implement data visualization dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance customer experience and drive business growth
. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams
. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform data-driven decision-making
. Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity
. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and CVS's data management policies
. Provide high-quality data insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
. Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of data analysis and recommendations
. Collaborate with the data science team to design and implement data visualization dashboards
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
. 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field
. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
. Proven expertise in data analysis, data visualization, and statistical modeling
. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical programming languages
. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders
. Experience with data governance policies and procedures, including data protection regulations
. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Master's degree in a related field
. Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
. Certification in data analysis or a related field
. Experience with data visualization and storytelling, with a focus on communicating complex insights to non-technical stakeholders

At CVS, we offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
