šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Data Architect for Music Consumption Analytics, you will play a critical role in helping us better understand how our users engage with music on our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architectures that drive business insights and inform product decisions. Reporting to the Director of Data Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, working closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to ensure that our data infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement scalable data architectures for music consumption analytics, leveraging technologies such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and Amazon Redshift.

Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines that ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

Collaborate with data scientists to design and implement data models that meet business requirements.

Work closely with engineers to ensure that data infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.

Troubleshoot complex data-related issues and provide technical expertise to resolve them.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and architecture, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our data infrastructure.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or a related field.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Proven experience with designing and implementing data architectures on large-scale datasets.

Strong hands-on experience with data engineering technologies such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, Amazon Redshift, and Snowflake.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Certification in data engineering or architecture, such as Certified Data Engineer (CDE) or Certified Data Architect (CDA).

Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives.
