Senior Data Engineer — Real-time Analytics for E-commerce

🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our real-time analytics pipelines and data architecture. You will report directly to the Head of Data Engineering and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and analysis. Your primary goal will be to deliver high-quality data insights to support business growth and decision-making.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Apache Beam and Apache Spark

Collaborate with data scientists to design and implement machine learning models and algorithms

Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes using AWS Redshift and S3

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through data validation, error handling, and monitoring

Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards using Tableau and Power BI

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data sources and APIs

Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering and architecture

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

Proficiency in Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and SQL

Experience with AWS services, including Redshift, S3, and Glue

Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch

Certification in data engineering or related field

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of €55,000 - €75,000 per annum, depending on experience
