As a Senior Data Integration Specialist at UnitedHealth Group, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement data integration solutions to support our healthcare operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, develop technical specifications, and ensure seamless integration of data from various sources. Your expertise will enable us to make data-driven decisions, improve patient outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop data integration architectures to integrate data from various sources, including electronic health records, claims systems, and other healthcare-related applications.

• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure real-time data synchronization, data quality, and data governance.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify business requirements, develop technical specifications, and prioritize data integration projects.

• Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards to support business intelligence and data analytics.

• Ensure data security, confidentiality, and integrity by adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, including data quality, performance, and integration problems.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data integration, data governance, and data analytics.

• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on data integration best practices.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of experience in data integration, data warehousing, or related field.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Expertise in data integration technologies such as AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, or Apache NiFi.

• Experience with data governance frameworks and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ICD-10.

• Strong understanding of database management systems, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience with AWS services such as Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon EMR.

• Certification in data integration, data governance, or data analytics.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
