🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Data Scientist on our Electric Vehicle Fleet Optimization team, you will play a crucial role in developing data-driven solutions to optimize our e-bike and e-moped fleets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and product, to analyze complex data sets and identify opportunities for improvement. Your expertise will help us improve the efficiency and sustainability of our fleets, reducing our carbon footprint and supporting our mission to make transportation more accessible and sustainable.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Develop and maintain complex data pipelines to extract insights from large datasets.

. Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design and implement data-driven solutions to optimize fleet performance.

. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in fleet efficiency and sustainability.

. Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast fleet performance and identify areas for optimization.

. Work with the data engineering team to design and implement data warehousing and data governance solutions.

. Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and apply them to our fleet optimization challenges.

. Collaborate with other teams, including operations and product, to implement data-driven solutions and measure their impact.

. Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, models, and other data science artifacts.

. Provide training and support to other team members on data science techniques and tools.

. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data science in the team.

. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the fields of transportation, sustainability, and data science.

. Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions to support our sustainability goals.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. 7+ years of experience in data science, with a strong background in machine learning and statistics.

. Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

. Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience working with large datasets.

. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

. Experience with predictive modeling, including techniques such as regression, decision trees, and clustering.

. Strong understanding of data governance principles and experience with data warehousing solutions.

. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

. Experience with electric vehicle or transportation data.

. Experience with data engineering tools, such as Apache Beam or Apache Spark.
