🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Progressive, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, and provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers. You will report to the Head of Infrastructure and will have opportunities for growth and professional development.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

- Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure

doing automated testing and validation of infrastructure changes

developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible

developing and enforcing policies and procedures for infrastructure security and compliance

collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications

developing and maintaining monitoring and logging infrastructure

developing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery procedures

collaborating with the security team to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations

developing and maintaining documentation for infrastructure and procedures.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Progressive, you will need:

- 8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, including AWS and Azure

- Experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform and Ansible

- Experience with automated testing and validation of infrastructure changes

- Experience with monitoring and logging infrastructure

- Experience with backup and disaster recovery procedures

- Experience with security and compliance regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

While not required, the following skills and experience would be a plus:

- Experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes

- Experience with serverless computing, including AWS Lambda and Azure Functions

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD

- Experience with security and compliance certifications, such as CISSP and CISM

- Experience with data analytics and machine learning

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

At Progressive, we offer a competitive salary range of 50,000 - 80,000 EUR per year, depending on experience.
