šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior DevOps Engineer on our IoT Networking team, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale, cloud-based infrastructure for our IoT solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployments, optimal system performance, and exceptional user experience. You'll report to the Engineering Manager and will have the opportunity to drive technical innovation and improve processes to drive business growth.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure for IoT solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment, testing, and maintenance of IoT applications.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
Work with security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and IoT.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Strong understanding of security principles and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with IoT protocols and devices.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git).
Certification in cloud or DevOps technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Foundation Certification).
