🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Digital Experience Architect — Restaurant Technology, you'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge digital solutions to enhance our customers' online ordering and in-restaurant experiences. Reporting to the Director of Digital Experience, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize our restaurant technology ecosystem, with a focus on improving customer satisfaction, employee efficiency, and business growth. Your work will have a direct impact on the success of our business and our commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop digital solutions to enhance online ordering and in-restaurant experiences, working closely with restaurant operations teams, product managers, and engineers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement restaurant technology roadmap and strategy.

Develop and maintain technical requirements and design specifications for restaurant technology projects.

Work with engineering teams to design and implement technical solutions to improve restaurant operations and customer satisfaction.

Conduct user research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving the customer experience and inform digital solutions.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including restaurant operators, franchisees, and vendors.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and provide recommendations for future-proofing our restaurant technology ecosystem.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant technology or related field, with a focus on digital experience architecture and restaurant operations.

Experience working with restaurant point-of-sale systems, online ordering platforms, and other restaurant technology systems.

Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python, as well as experience with cloud-based platforms and APIs.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience working with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.

Certification in restaurant technology or digital experience architecture, such as the Certified Restaurant Technology Professional (CRTp) designation.

Familiarity with industry-standard design and development tools, such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure.
