šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Digital Identity and Access Management Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our digital platforms, services, and customer data. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust identity and access management systems that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Director of Digital Security, this specialist will contribute to the development of our digital strategy and provide expert guidance on identity and access management best practices.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and deploy identity and access management (IAM) systems, including user provisioning, authentication, and authorization.
- Implement and manage access controls, including role-based access control, multifactor authentication, and password policies.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate IAM solutions into new and existing digital platforms.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and improve system security.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide training and support to employees on IAM systems and procedures.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand their identity and access management needs and preferences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IAM trends, technologies, and industry developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our digital security posture.
- Work collaboratively with other teams, including IT, compliance, and risk management, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system diagrams, operational procedures, and technical guides.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of experience in digital identity and access management, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced technical certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, are highly desirable.
- Proven experience with IAM systems, including user provisioning, authentication, and authorization.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, including NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001.
- Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions, such as AWS IAM or Azure Active Directory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and identify solutions.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management frameworks, such as SAML or OAuth.
- Knowledge of cloud security platforms, such as AWS CloudFormation or Azure Security Center.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins or Docker.
- Experience with cloud-based identity and access management services, such as Google Cloud Identity or Amazon Cognito.

- Salary range: £55,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
