šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Digital Marketing Analytics Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and interpreting data-driven insights to inform and optimize Target's digital marketing strategies across social media, email, search engine marketing, and other digital channels. This role reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing Analytics and plays a key part in measuring and improving the overall effectiveness of Target's digital marketing efforts. Key performance indicators include driving incremental sales, improving return on ad spend, and expanding digital marketing reach across target audiences.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⢠Develop and maintain advanced analytics models to measure and optimize campaign performance, using tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
⢠Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven experiments and A/B testing to inform marketing strategy
⢠Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and data visualizations to analyze and communicate results to stakeholders
⢠Partner with data scientists and engineers to develop and integrate new data sources and methodologies into Target's analytics infrastructure
⢠Develop and maintain data governance and quality control processes to ensure accurate and reliable data
⢠Provide expert-level guidance and training to other team members on advanced analytics tools and methodologies
⢠Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in digital marketing analytics and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement
⢠Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide timely and actionable insights to stakeholders
⢠Ensure alignment with Target's business objectives and key performance indicators
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering
⢠5+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics, with a focus on data analysis, modeling, and interpretation
⢠Advanced knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
⢠Experience with data management and governance best practices
⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
⢠Experience with data science and machine learning tools and methodologies
⢠Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
⢠Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering
⢠Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Adobe Campaign or Marketo
⢠Knowledge of data engineering and architecture principles
⢠Experience with agile project management methodologies
⢠Certification in Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
