šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
In this role as Senior Digital Transformation Consultant, you'll work closely with our hospital teams to design and implement digital solutions that improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall care experience. You'll report directly to our Director of Digital Transformation, and your impact will be felt across our entire organization. Your work will involve collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline staff to senior leadership, to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⢠Develop and implement digital transformation strategies that align with Kaiser Permanente's overall vision and goals.
⢠Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new digital solutions, including mobile apps, wearables, and telehealth platforms.
⢠Identify and assess emerging technologies and trends, and develop recommendations for integration into our existing infrastructure.
⢠Develop and deliver training programs for hospital staff, focusing on effective use of digital tools and technologies.
⢠Work closely with our IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems and technologies.
⢠Conduct regular site visits to our hospitals to assess the effectiveness of digital transformation initiatives.
⢠Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
⢠Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
⢠Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and agreements as needed.
⢠Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠8+ years of experience in digital transformation, IT, or a related field.
⢠Master's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
⢠Proven track record of successful digital transformation projects, with measurable results and ROI.
⢠Strong technical skills, including experience with cloud-based platforms, agile development methodologies, and data analytics tools.
⢠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
⢠Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in healthcare.
⢠Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment.
⢠Certification in digital transformation, IT, or a related field (e.g. CDP, CTO, etc.).
⢠Familiarity with Kaiser Permanente's systems and infrastructure.
⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
⢠Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools.
