šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior E-commerce Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic e-commerce marketing plans that drive sales, improve brand awareness, and increase customer engagement across the German market. You will report directly to the Director of E-commerce and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and logistics to achieve business goals. Your daily responsibilities will include analyzing market trends, conducting competitor research, creating and editing marketing content, managing social media campaigns, and optimizing website user experience to meet customer needs.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce marketing strategies for the German market, including social media, email marketing, and search engine optimization.
Create and edit high-quality marketing content, including product descriptions, product images, and promotional copy, that resonates with our target audience.
Collaborate with the product management team to ensure alignment between marketing and product strategies.
Analyze market trends, competitor research, and customer feedback to inform marketing decisions and optimize campaigns.
Manage and execute social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to engage with customers and drive brand awareness.
Monitor and optimize website user experience to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
6 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
Proficiency in marketing automation software, such as HubSpot or Marketo.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Ads.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in marketing or a related field.
Experience in A/B testing, multivariate testing, or personalization.
Knowledge of German language and culture, with a strong understanding of the German market.
Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify or Magento.
Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
