🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior E-commerce Platform Manager at Michaels, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of our digital retail platform.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive e-commerce growth, improve customer experience, and increase operational efficiency.
You will report directly to the Director of E-commerce and be a key player in shaping the future of Michaels' digital retail strategy.
This role will have a significant impact on our business, driving revenue growth and customer engagement.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute the e-commerce platform roadmap, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
Lead a team of developers, analysts, and designers to deliver high-quality features and improvements to the platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and scope projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
Migrate and optimize existing functionality to improve platform performance and scalability.
Design and implement data-driven analytics and reporting to inform business decisions.
Work with third-party vendors to integrate and customize their services to meet platform requirements.
✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 8 years of experience in e-commerce platform management, development, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong technical skills in Java, Python, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Proficiency in e-commerce platforms like Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or Shopify.
Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts.
💰 WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, plus additional benefits.
