🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Senior E-commerce Platform Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the expansion of our e-commerce platform across Europe. Reporting directly to the Director of E-commerce, you will be responsible for managing the technical teams and vendors responsible for the platform's development, deployment, and maintenance. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless integration with our brick-and-mortar stores, customer-centric experience, and scalability to meet growing demands.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to develop and implement e-commerce strategies that align with our business goals.

• Manage a team of engineers and developers responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of our e-commerce platform.

• Partner with vendors and third-party providers to ensure seamless integrations with our platform.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to drive growth and improvement.

• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize platform performance, user experience, and customer satisfaction.

• Identify and mitigate technical risks and security threats to ensure the integrity of our platform.

• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in e-commerce and continuously evaluate opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Develop and manage the budget for the e-commerce platform and ensure cost-effective solutions.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in e-commerce platform management, with a focus on technical leadership and team management.

• Proven track record of success in managing large-scale e-commerce platforms, with expertise in scalability, security, and performance.

• Strong technical skills, including expertise in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and microservices architecture.

• Experience with agile methodologies and lean principles, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with cloud-native technologies, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment.

• Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, Magento, or Adobe Commerce.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

At Whole Foods Market, we offer a competitive salary range of €55,000 - €75,000 per year, depending on experience.
