π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior E-commerce Platform Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of our e-commerce platform to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to the Director of E-commerce and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve our business objectives. Your leadership and expertise will have a significant impact on our online presence and customer experience.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
β’ Lead the development and implementation of our e-commerce platform to enhance online shopping experience, improve conversion rates, and increase customer satisfaction.
β’ Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain a robust and scalable e-commerce platform that meets our business needs.
β’ Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery of platform updates and integrations.
β’ Analyze platform performance metrics and provide recommendations for process improvements and technical enhancements.
β’ Develop and manage budget for e-commerce platform development and maintenance.
β’ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for e-commerce transactions.
β’ Conduct regular platform audits to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.
β’ Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our platform remains competitive.
β’ Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
β’ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that drive online sales and engagement.
β’ Develop and maintain a platform roadmap to ensure our e-commerce platform remains aligned with business goals and objectives.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of experience in managing e-commerce platforms, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving business growth.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. MBA or MS in related field is a plus.
Strong technical skills in e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify or Magento, and experience with platform integrations and APIs.
Excellent leadership and project management skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and vendors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience in e-commerce marketing, with a proven track record of driving online sales and engagement.
Certification in e-commerce or digital marketing is a plus.
Experience with cloud-based e-commerce platforms and AWS is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Scrum framework.
